ONLINE QUIZZES - Bible Quiz

Back with me again in my 5th posts. In this posts, I want to tell you how to make online quizzes, the weaknesses of making online quizzes, and the benefits making online quizzes.
I choose Kahoot! site as my online quizzes. This site is really fun, and makes me interesting. Kahoot! is a site that provides everyone to make some questions for a specific topics. It is also useful for teachers who want to make some quizzes in fun and effective ways. Kahoot! site is also a real-time, an unlimited number of players, fun, interesting, game-like environments. In this posts also, I want to share some tips how to make an online quizzes by Kahoot! site.
Here are the following steps:
1. Open your internet browser (Firefox, Chrome, etc.)
2. Type www.kahoot.com on your sitebar.
3. Click "Enter", and it will bring you to the Kahoot! site.
4. Choose "Sign Up" if you don't have the Kahoot! account, or choose "Sign In" if you have the Kahoot! account.
5. Choose "As A Teacher".
6. Choose "Sign Up With Google Account".
7. Choose the e-mail that you want to use for your Kahoot! account, and it will enter into the Kahoot! homepage.
8. Choose "My Kahoot"
9. Choose one techniques that you want to make (Quiz, Jumble, Discussion, and Survey). But, in this site, I choose Quiz.
10. Fill the title, description, language, audience, credit resources, and intro video (if there is any).
11. Choose "Ok, Go!"
12. Choose "Add Question", add your questions, and the multiple choices.
13. You can add also videos or pictures if you have some in your folder by uploading it.
14. If you have done with your questions, then click "Save".
15. The quiz has already made, You can preview it, share, or play it with your friends.
The benefits of making online quizzes is that we won't make our students in the class feel bored doing the test. By using online quizzes, students do not need to write any more. Also, the students can know their results directly after finishing their quiz. It's also good for teachers since the teachers doesn't need to correct their students' answer one by one.
The weaknesses of using online quizzes is that we might make our students become lazy because they do not have to write any more. Also, this quizzes needs an Internet connections and we can not keep it really well. Connection will become the problem when we are doing online quiz. The teachers also can make sure that the connection is good enough to doing the quiz for their students.
Other ideas how I will use this quizzes in language classrooms is to measure my students' language skills (vocabulary, grammar, reading, speaking, listening, and writing).

Hi Gideon! It is nice of you to write all the steps in order. It was so clear and I can understand it easily. I think I agree with Shafira that you should actually give us the link of your websites so that it is easier for us to go directly to the aimed web. But I could say you did it well, when actually you can perform better by attaching some pictures but well I can say it is great!
BalasHapusHi Gid! It is good at making the steps in order. The explanation is also clear enough. However, I wonder what part of quiz type in kahoot that you will use to "measure" your students' skill (as you have written above). Maybe you can show me what part measures what skill. Hehehe.
